The death of Mr Edward Ambrey occurred at the Blair Athol Hospital on April 6th.
Mr. Aubrey was born at Renmark, South Australia, 77 years ago and had resided at Blair Athol (or more than 5O years. He was employed by the Blair Athol Coal and Timber Co. for many years.
His wife predeceased him in 1987 & is survived by three sons and five daughters. They are Messrs William (Bluff), Walter (Blair Athol), Fred (Maryborough), Mesdamsa S. Duncan (Collinsville),C. McCann, W. Johnstone, H. Scharf, Albert Smith(all of Blair Athol). The funeral took place from the Blair Athol Church of England. The Central Queensland Herald (Rockhampton, Qld. : 1930 - 1956) Thursday 23 April 1953 page 23.
