Jon was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He attended Millet learning Center until the age of 25. Jon was a very warm, loving and friendly young man who enjoyed being with his family and friends. He was employed at SVRC Industries for many years in the production warehouse, later transferring to the food delivery service area. Jon had a passion for wrestling, whether watching television, playing video games, or jostling around with his brothers. Jon was raised up in the church. He loved attending services with his mother and giving God praise in his own way. Jon was a true CHAMPION who will be sorely missed by family and friends who loved him dearly.
He leaves to cherish his memory his father, James L. Jackson; twelve siblings, two sisters, Lynnette and Kimberly Jackson; ten brothers, Vincent, Shawn (Teresa), Anthony (Lea), Michael, Ivan, Bryan, Randy, Cory, Tory and DeVante Jackson; twenty-six nieces; thirty-one nephews; eight great-nieces and nephews; five very special aunts; two uncles; many cousins, other relatives and friends.
Jon was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Jackson; sister, Paulette Jackson; grandparents, Mary and Joe Jones, Rosa and Booker Jackson; aunts, Ruby Jackson and Beulah Jones; uncles, Robert Jones and Fredrick Jackson.
The family would like to express special thanks to Jon’s doctors, nurses, teachers, friends, extended family, and Ivan E. Phillips and the entire Paradise Funeral Chapel staff for the quality care, love and support during this most difficult time.
