Pauline Therese (Blais) Erlman, 85, returned to her Heavenly Father on August 14, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Manchester, NH on December 22, 1930, Pauline was the daughter of Alfred and Florida (Allard) Blais. She later married her high school sweetheart, John Arthur Erlman, with whom she spent 51 wonderful years of marriage, until his passing on September 24, 2005. In addition to her husband, Pauline was predeceased by their beloved son, Michael, and a sister, Julie Kelley. She was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Manchester.
Raised in Manchester, Pauline was a high school cheerleader and graduated from St. Joseph Girls High School in 1949. In her later years, she graduated from North Technical Education Center (Riviera Beach, Florida) in 1980 with a certificate in Cosmetology.
Pauline's greatest loves were her family, music, and laughter. She was blessed with a beautiful professional singing voice and performed in numerous shows throughout the years with her husband, including entertaining the troops in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, hospital fundraising variety shows, and most recently, the Silver Stars at The Palace Theater in Manchester. Her children grew up listening to her beautiful singing, which filled their loving home. Her favorite pastimes were crocheting and making puzzles. Pauline (Granny) was the much beloved matriarch of the family and was also her children's and grandchildren's biggest cheerleader.
Pauline leaves behind three sons, John Erlman of Goffstown, Christopher Erlman and his fiancé Annette Jones of West Palm Beach, Florida, and James Erlman and Renee Rakett of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; three daughters, Christine Wenrich and her husband, William, of Nashua; Carol Phillips of Manchester; and Colleen Erlman-Bakels and her fiancé, Jeffrey Hunter of Port St. Lucie, Florida; grandchildren Melissa, Jessica, Jade, Michael, Catherine, Sarah, Cindy, David, Justin, Jamie, Michelle, Timothy, and Rebecca; great-grandchildren Brianna, Nico, and Logan; a sister, Lorraine LePage and her husband, Paul of Epsom; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She also leaves behind her cherished Bichon Frise, "Sir Buddy."
Family and friends are invited to attend her services. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will take place Thursday at 10:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Parish, 172 Belmont St, Manchester. Burial will take place immediately following the Mass at Saint Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St, Bedford, NH.
