Hattie Louise (Akin) Brazelton Benson


She was the daughter of Jackson Stephens and Birtha Estelle (Pace) Akin and married William Ernest Brazelton - 26 Dec 1935 - Jackson Co., Alabama. After his death, she married Oliver Edison Benson. Her obituary follows:


Louise Brazelton Benson, age 79, of Winchester, died January 20 at Southern Tennessee Medical Center. She was the daughter of Jack Akin and Estel Pace. Survivors include her husband, Oliver Benson; two sons, Jim (Sandie) Brazelton of Belvidere and Billy (Pat) Brazelton of Matson, Illinois; two stepdaughters, Jean Hasty of Winchester and Coreen Bradford of Huntland; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. F9uneral services were conducted January 22 at 2 p.m. from Moore-Cortner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rudy Wilkerson officiating. Interment was in Maxwell Cemetery. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
