Mrs. Jennie Boyd died Saturday at the home of daughter, Mrs. Koran Eldridge in Rensselaer. Mrs. Boyd, widow of John Boyd, Civil War Veteran, lived half mile east of Francesville many years ago. She later moved to Soldiers Home at Lafayette where she lived about 25 years, then going to the home of her daughter three years ago. She was born in Marion County, Ohio. Leaves two children: Chester Johnson of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Mrs. Eldridge. Funeral at Rensselaer Church of God and burial in cemetery east of town.
