AGE 68 YEARS
Brian M. Shea, of Attleboro passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of Angela (Montenegro) Shea, to whom he was wed on July 14, 1973.
He was a loving son of the late Edward D. and Katherine (Regan) Shea.
Brian grew up and was educated in Melrose, and was a graduate of Melrose High School. He furthered his education, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Tufts University and later received his Masters Degree in School Psychology from the University of Rhode Island.
Prior to retiring, Mr. Shea was employed for many years as a School Psychologist for the East Providence School System and was a member of the Rhode Island Teachers Association.
Brian had made his home in Attleboro for the past forty-one years. When not spending time with his adoring family, his passion in life was golf. He also enjoyed listening to music, jazz being his favorite.
In addition to his wife of 43 years, he is survived by his devoted son Brendan M. Shea of Medford. He is also survived by his siblings Barbara McDonnell of Malden, Christopher Shea of Weymouth and Trish Westover of Nashua, NH.
Funeral Mass: St. Mary’s Church, 9 Herbert St., Melrose.
Burial: Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.
