Gary Wendell Platt, 64, of Hortense died Tuesday at his residence.
A native of Melbourne, Fla., Mr. Platt was a truck driver.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of Joel Chambless Funeral Home in Nahunta with the Rev. Ricky Knox officiating.
Survivors include two daughters, Vicky Lowman of Hortense and Angie Sawyer of Jacksonville; three sons, Giles Platt of Samsula, Fla., Cash Platt of Elkmont, Ala., and Edmond Platt of Kings Mountain, N.C.; two sisters Daphna Dull of Melbourne and Carolyn Spears of Tennessee; and a brother, Randy Platt of Georgia.
