Johnny Walls, age 66, a resident of Harriman, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home, Sunday, August 14, 2016.

He was born August 4, 1950 in Oliver Springs. He was a lifelong resident of this area.

Johnny loved golf, UT football, gospel music, singing with the North Clinton Boys and most of all his reason to live was his grandchildren and kids.

He is preceded in death by his father, Garvan Walls; by his mother, Mary Hill Walls; by a grandson, Aaron Brady Walls; by a sister, Betty Lou Justice; by his brother, Tommy Jabe Walls; by his father-in-law, Ralph Foster and by his mother-in-law, Lois Foster.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 46 years, Debbie Walls of Harriman; by a son, John Eric Walls and wife, Angela of Harriman; by a daughter Stacie Marie Weems and husband, David of Harriman; by grandchildren: Tyler Walls (Whitney), Dillon Walls, Emma Walls, Paisley Walls, Peyton Hensley (Sydney) Landon Hensley, and Jacob Weems; by great-grandchildren Anlynn Walls, Brylee Walls, and Braylee Hensley.

He is also survived by a brother, Garvan Walls and wife, Gail of Oliver Springs; by a sister, Mary Katherine Adcox of Knoxville and by other extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, August 16, 2016 between the hours of 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church.

The funeral will follow at 8:00 pm in the church auditorium with Pastor Garvan Walls officiating.

Burial and graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 11:00 am at Mount Pisgah Cemetery.

The family ask that memorial donations be made to the Mount Pisgah Print Shop.
