Conrad "Bud" Cope Miller, Jr., 90, died June 29, 2016, at the Seabrook Fraser Center where he was working hard in physical therapy and expecting a full recovery from a recent car accident.

Mr. Miller born April 13, 1926 in Macon, Georgia. Bud was a 1949 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and served six years in the Mine Squad IV, United States Atlantic Fleet. He received the National Defense Service Medal and the Naval Occupation Service Medal. He resigned his commission as Commander Mine Squad IV, May 21, 1954. He then returned to Easton, PA to join the family construction company and later became president. In 1976, he sold the company to his employees. Two years later, he moved with his wife to Hilton Head Island where he became an enthusiastic amateur chef, an accomplished gardener and an avid bridge player. While living in Easton, Mr. Miller was an active member of The Easton Anglers. He also with the permission from the Daughters of the American Revolution was responsible for the exterior restoration of the Parsons-Taylor House who was a signee of the Declaration of Independence. In addition, Mr. Miller installed an 18th century garden adjacent to the house. The garden was in the memory of Kenneth Kressler.

Survivors: He leaves his son Conrad Cope Miller III of Easton, PA, his daughter Emily Rowan Cronin, her husband Daniel Christopher, their son, Jared Maxwell of Wilmington, N.C. and his ex-wife, Patricia Keller of Easton, PA. He was preceded in death by his brother, Henry Maxwell Miller and parents, Conrad Cope Miller and Ruth Viola Dodd. Mr. Miller leaves the two cats he adored, Pork Chop and Gus, who have found a new nurturing home.

Services: A grave side service was held on July 15, 2016. Mr. Miller was buried next to his parents in the Greenwood Cemetery in Nazareth, PA.
