David J. Domer age 86, passed away Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013. Born in McDonaldsville, Ohio to the late Arthur and Rachel (Hines) Domer. Dave was a graduate of Jackson High School, Class of '45, served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy. Preceded in death by his wife, Virginia 'Ginny' Domer April 11, 2012. They were married 65 years. Also preceded in death by his brothers, Jim and Junior. Memberships include Canton Rotary where he was a Paul Harris recipient, Woodcarvers Club, Lifetime member of IEEE, FCC Radio Telephone Operators License, Amateur Radio Operator- W8GSK, Mt. Pleasant Church of the Brethren. Survived by his sons, David Terry (Cindy) Domer, Jeff (Susan) Domer; daughter, Cheryl (Jim) Doria; grandchildren, Chad Domer, Lindsey (fiance, Johnny) Domer, Ryan Domer, Claire (Jason) Fasbinder, Adam (Amanda) Domer, Jay Domer, Andrea (Matt) Reisinger, David (fiancée, Rachel) Doria; great-grandchildren, Cade Domer and Zaile Fasbinder; sisters, Glorine Snyder, Ruth Schorey, Verline (Ray) Shallenberger, Orpha (Al) Arbogast, Eunice (Richie) Coffman. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Mt. Pleasant Church of the Brethren, 4152 Mt. Pleasant Rd. N.W., North Canton, Ohio with Pastor Bruce Jacobsen officiating. Burial will follow in East Nimishillen Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. in the Schneeberger Funeral Home and one hour before services Friday at the church from 10-11 a.m.
