Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Floria Perkins, 39, who died at her residence, 310 LaRue, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock after a brief illness, were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Tidmore cemetery.
The services were conducted by the Rev. Hubert Townsley, Missionary Baptist minister. Burial was in the Tidmore cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gene Brown, Dub Brown, Ernest Brown, Hiram Perkins, Preston Perkins and Sepher Chaney. The Carroll and Lehr Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Perkins was born February 14, 1905, and came to Athens from Ben Wheeler about three months ago.
Surviving are her husband, T.L. Perkins; one daughter, Avalon Perkins, Athens; one son, T.L. Perkins Jr., U.S. Navy, somewhere overseas; and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Dickert of Mineola and Mrs. R.E. Gray.
