Helen Laree Hensley, 82, Springfield, passed away at 3:30 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2016 in her home. Mrs. Hensley, a retired bookkeeper, was born January 7, 1934 in Rondo, MO, the daughter of John McBride and Essie (Smith) McBride. She was united in marriage on September 18, 1954 in Springfield to the late Milton F. Hensley and shared 46 years together.
She was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by a brother Don McBride and wife Betty, a son John Hensley and his wife Christy; a daughter Lori Gott and her husband Burley; two grandsons, Kevin Hensley and Daniel Gott; a granddaughter Ryann Gott and great-granddaughter Sadie Hensley.
Burial in Missouri Veterans' Cemetery. Helen's nephew Rev. Donald McBride officiated.
