Ruede Diary, He wrote that they had lived in Bethabara little more than a year when "About elven o'clock this morning it please the Saviour to bring to an end the life of the Married Sr. Elisabeth Ruede, m.n. Seiler, afer she had given birth to a little daugther who nver saw the light of this world. Her remains and the body of her infant were buried the next afternoon at one o'clock."
She continued whith the following:
She had been married sixteen years, had ten pregnancies, including one set of twins and this last stillborn daughter, and died at the age of not quite forty-two. Nina was a great granddaughter of Maria and George.
