Mrs. Lombard was born December 17, 1945 in Iredell County, daughter of the late Andy Moose and Doris Baker Moose. She was a 1964 graduate of West Rowan High School and was the Office Manager of Shuping Superior Graphics. She enjoyed camping, bingo, crafts and loved her family. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Leonard Moose, Kenny Moose, Ronnie Moose and her sisters, Brenda Cutshaw and Betty Gail Myers.
Mrs. Lombard is survived by husband, John Albert “Bert” Lombard, whom she married February 26, 1971, sons, Donald B. Spry of Salisbury, Johnny Lombard and wife Ashley of Rockwell, grandchildren, Travis Wilson, Steven Wilson, Chloe Lombard and Rebecca Lombard. She is also survived by brothers Banks Moose of Statesville, Steve Moose of Salisbury, sisters Jean Thompson and husband James of Salisbury and Sherra Richardson and husband Mike of Salisbury.
The family will receive friends at Powles Staton Funeral Home on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, conducted by Rev. John Earnhardt, pastor Hendersonville Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial will follow at Brookhill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House, 1229 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC 28144.
