SANFORD -- Charles Edward Thayer, 77, of 736 Highland Dr., died Monday in Central Carolina Hospital.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. in Casey Chapel in St. Luke United Methodist Church by the Revs. Judy Drye and Carl Rush. Burial will be in Buffalo Cemetery.
Mr. Thayer is survived by his wife, Anna M. Thayer; a daughter, Alice M. Cox of Sanford; and a granddaughter.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Miller Funeral Home.
