A memorial service to celebrate the life of Lois Davidson Jordan, 94, of Camden, SC, will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Rev. David Snodgrass will officiate. The family is requesting no flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to The Center of Birds of Prey, The Avian Conservation Center, 4719 Highway 17, Awendaw, SC 29429 or a charity of one's choice.
Mrs. Jordan, widow of Clyde F. Jordan, died Wednesday, June 8, 2016. She was born in Statesville, NC, the daughter of the late Leon Davidson and Sally Linberger Davidson. Mrs. Jordan worked at the clerk of courts office for 8 years and later with AT&T for many years. She was a member of Hermitage Baptist Church.
Mrs. Jordan is survived by her sons, Davidson a. Jordan of Houston, TX and Ralph Edward Jordan (Jan) of Camden, SC; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, Mrs. Jordan was predeceased by her son, Donald Clayton Jordan.
Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
