Miss Anna Kennedy, who was here a few days last week visiting her sister, Mrs. Chas. Wallace, left Saturday evening for Kansas City. She was joined by Miss Maud Harwood, who came up from Higginsville. They went to attend the funeral of Mrs. J.M. Taylor, of Higginsville, who died in Kansas City at 10 o'clock Friday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Jones. Mrs. Taylor was the daughter of Colonel Oliver Anderson, who formerly lived in Lexington at the residence now occupied by Mr. Tilton Davis. She has two brothers, Messrs. Robert and J.C.
