Mrs. Boykins, a native of Southampton County, was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Armond Boykins Jr.; two daughters, Pamela B. Holley of Norfolk and Sandra B. Fields of Chesapeake; four sons, Eldred Boykins and Armond Boykins III, both of New York City, Tonie Boykins of Norfolk and Roderick Boykins of Petersburg; four sisters, Lucy Kemp and Ada Williams, both of Chesapeake, and Leola Hersheyberg and Delois Goodall, both of Norfolk; a brother, Leslie Turner of Baltimore; and 11 grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Providence United Church of Christ by the Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family at 1389 E. Tanners Creek Drive. The procession will leave from 2212 Lloyd Drive, Chesapeake. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
