1996, in her home. She had been ill
for 18 months.
Born March 20, 1909, in Delphi,
she was the daughter of
Doxey and Katie Cochran
Moore. She married Clarence
Jackson in 1926, and he died
in 1951. Her second marriage
was in 1959 to Charles E. Huffer,
who died in 1971.
She had worked at Globe Valve
Corp. and Peters-Revington, both
in Delphi, Essex Wire in
Lafayette, and Capehart Industries
in Flora, and she cared for people in
their homes.
She was educated at St, Joseph
Catholic School and Delphi public
schools.
She was a member of Radnor
United Methodist Church and
enjoyed sewing, quilting, and
cooking.
Surviving are two daughters,
Betty J. Turner of Bringhurst and
Joan Hammond of Delphi; a son,
Clarence “Jack” Jackson of Battle
Ground; a stepson, Charles W.
Huffer of Monticello; a sister,
Clementine Oilar of Fort Myers,
Fla.; seven grandchildren and two
step-grandchildren; seven great-
grandchildren; and three great-
great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by three sisters,
one brother, and one great-grandson.
Services will be Thursday at 11
à.m. at Horn Funeral Home with
Rev. Mark Ellcessor officiating.

Cemetery, Delphi.
