[son of Daniel Jr. Stark & Jemima Culver, grandson of William Stark & Experience Lamb. Married Elizabeth Frink on May 8, 1785 to this union seven ch: were born. (1)Daniel, (2)Betsey, (3)Russell, (4)Jonathan, (5)Sanford, (6)Charlotte, & (7)Fanny. Daniel died as a result of a accident incurred while trying to extricate an ox that was mired in a swamp. While a mere boy he served for a short time as one of the garrison of Fort Griswold in 1779. from text "Aaron Stark Family, Seven Generations," by Charles Rathbone Stark page 46. -per Diana]Daniel was serving with brother Christopher in Virginia Troops in the Ft. Pitt area in 1775. In 1776 they were enlisted in the Pennsylvania Line and thus were not present at the Wyoming Massacre. From 1778 to 1785 they were serving as rangers in the Washington County, PA Militia. Brought their families to Kentucky in 1786. Daniel's wife, Elizabeth, was "probably sister to Christopher's wife," Margaret Vineyard.
Daniel Stark was cited for concealing two tithables in 1786! Daniel was born sometime Bef. 1746 & died some time Aft. 1810 s/o Jonathan Stark & Sarah Laycock. Daniel married Elizabeth Wells. To this union 10 children were born, (1)Jonathan D., (2)Jacob, (3)Rachel, (4)David, (5)Elizabeth, (6)Daniel, (7)Isaac, (8)Abraham, (9)Charles, (10)Mary. Daniel's daughter Sarah married her 1st cousin Jonathan Stark. Jonathan's father James is Daniels brother.
