Lawrence George Guerin, a Veteran of the U.S. Army who proudly served his country during WWII, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2009 at the age of 86. He was the beloved husband of Mae Violet Buxton Guerin. Loving father of Kay Simon and Holly Biggs. Son of the late Rosemary Imhoff Guerin and James R. Guerin. Brother of Julie Delhom, Theodore Guerin, Dorothy Gros, Freddie Guerin and the late Raymond Guerin, Lorraine Gleason and Claude Guerin. Proud grandfather of Jennifer Simon and Laura Biggs. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by us all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, September 26th from 10:00AM – 12:00PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 12:00PM. Burial will be private.
