Her death was due to causes incident to her advanced age.
She had been residing with her daughter, Mrs. Irene Peddicord, and another daughter, Mrs. Lowell (Ruth) Zimmerman, also of Johnsonville, for some time.
Ida Jeanette, daughter of J. P. and Caroline Pastre, was born at Zanesville, Ohio, June 28, 1873. She came to Wayne County with her parents when she was two years old.
She was married to Carl J. Schumann March 31, 1896. He passed away in March, 1946.
Mrs. Shumann was converted to christ at the age of 19 and united with the Johnsonville Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Ruth Zimmerman, and Irene Peddicord; two grandsons; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted from DeSelms Funeral Home with interment in the Cisne Cemetery.
