Schram, RAYMOND VICTOR of Durant, Oklahoma. He was born September 22, 1946 in Ponca City, OK. He attended grade school in Wichita Falls, TX and graduated from High School in Irving, TX. He joined the Air Force and was stationed in Arkansas. Postwar he worked as a technician on the "Dew Line" radar defense in Greenland, employed in Saudi Arabia to teach math to Saudi Pilots, employed in Iran to teach English to Iranian pilots, after the overthrow of the Shaw of Iran he returned to the U.S. He graduated with honors (BA) from University of Houston, obtained MBA from Southwestern Oklahoma State College of Durant, OK. He settled in Durant and operated a private investment company. He loved music, began playing guitar in his teens. He helped organize and played in various small bands and won several competitions. He became enamored with antique classic cars and spent many happy hours restoring some of them. He enjoyed carpentry, auto mechanics, gardening, and landscaping his own property. He loved cats, and always had at least one. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Elizabeth Schram and sister Karen Ann Schram. He is survived by his father Alfred F. Schram, Sr. of Irving, brother Alfred F. Schram, Jr. of Irving, sister Margaret Hodgkins of Denison, niece Kerry Hodgkins, of Anchorage, Alaska and nephew Sean Hodgkins of Denison, TX, uncles George Allman of Houston, TX and Harold Hickman of Lawton, OK, aunts Marie Allman of Houston, TX and Genevieve Hickman of Lawton, OK, and many cousins in various states. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM 12/17/03, Wednesday with Father Aidan O'Donnovan officiating at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Irving, followed by entombment at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
