SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, November 27, 2006, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Rev. Jim Powell, pastor of Hobart Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Yearwood was born January 4, 1926 in Gary, Oklahoma. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1931. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps, serving from 1944 until 1947, and was honorably discharged as a Corporal. He married Mona Monds on June 28, 1949 in Pampa. He was employed by Nelson-Sikes Pipeline Construction for 25 years. He was a member of Hobart Baptist Church.

SURVIVORS: Wife: Mona Yearwood of the home. 1 Daughter: Carol Elaine Carroll of Pampa. 3 Sisters: Wanda Potter, Jean Bush, and Dorothy Yearwood, all of Pampa. 1 Brother: Marvin Dale Yearwood of Riverside, California. 3 Grandchildren: Shonda Turner of Amarillo, Bobby Carroll & wife Melissa of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Lindsay Carroll & husband Juan Lopez of Pampa. 5 Great-Grandchildren: Landen Turner and Christian Turner, both of Amarillo, Macey Carroll and Riley Carroll, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Baileigh Lopez of Pampa. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Leona Smartt.
