Ryan; loving mother of Carol (David) Zentgraf, Peggy (Paul) Huff, and Susan Ryan; dear grandmother of Dan (Kate) and Carolyn (Alec Head) Zentgraf; Joe (Aimee) and Christopher (Jill) Huff, and Laura (David) Hagan; dear great-grandmother of Elizabeth Zentgraf, Madison Huff, and Johnathan Huff; dear aunt and friend to many.
Carolyn was born September 5, 1925 to Ophelia and Ben Taylor in Brownsville, Tennessee and moved to St. Louis as a child. She married John C. Ryan on June 5, 1949. He preceded her in death on December 7, 2002. Carolyn and John were longtime owners of Ryan Pharmacy in Pacific, MO and she was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood.
Carolyn lived life to the fullest in her nearly 91 years. She loved to travel, work in her beautiful garden, and especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She was dearly loved by all who knew her.
Funeral at First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood, 100 E. Adams, Thursday, August 18th, 10:00 am. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd, Kirkwood, Wednesday, August 17th, 4-7:00 pm.
