Susan was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School and prior to her retirement was employed as a supervisor for Huntington Bank. She enjoyed reading and sewing and was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Indians.
She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Surviving are her children, Fredrick (Tina) Smith, Leigh Ann (John) Lesniewski; grandchildren, James, Geddy, Justin, Johnathen, Ashleigh; great-grandchildren, Cayden, Liam, and Kyleigh. She was preceded in death by her husband David and sister Christine Bell.
Her family wishes to extend special thanks to Tanya Jones, the staffs at St. Charles Hospital and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for excellent care that she received.
Friends are invited to visit from 2:00-7:00PM on Monday May 23, 2022 in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 W. Sylvania Ave., where funeral services will begin at 1:00PM on Tuesday. Burial will follow in the Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the American Diabetes Foundation.
