Daisy Jane Streepy, daughter of William B. and Caroline Stickler, was born on a farm near Cincinnati, Iowa, on May 16, 1876 and departed this life on June 9, 1960, at 11 p.m. in the St. Joseph Hospital where she had been a patient for 3 days, at the age of 84 years and 23 days of age.
On October 19, 1904, she was united in marriage to William H. Streepy. To this union were born three sons who survive her passing: Freeland B. Streepy, of Joliet, Illinois; William Ford Streepy, of Canton, Illinois; and Arthur M. Steepy, of Cincinnati, Iowa. She also leaves six grandchildren and one brother John Stickler, of Cincinnati, Ia. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H., on February 4, 1933.
She had lived her entire life in the Cincinnati community. She was a charter member of the Christian Church and a devoted and active member as long as her health permitted.
Services were held on Saturday, June 18, from the Christian Church in Cincinnati at 2 o'clock with the Rev. T. Earl Starke officiating. Burial was at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
