Stephanie Regina White Lewis, Newport News, Va., formerly of Christian County, died Friday, Jan. 29, 2016.
Visitation will be from 1 until 3 p.m. Friday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Denbigh Chapel, Newport News.
A native of Christian County, Stephanie was born June 29, 1963, the daughter of Bessie Bussell White and the late George “Boo-Boo” White.
Stephanie was a retired military pay technician who worked at Fort Eustis since 1988.
She was a wonderful person who loved kids and always helped others. Most will remember her crocheting and help with tax preparation.
Her memory is left to be cherished by her mother; Bessie Bussell White, her daughter; Stephanie "Nikki" Lewis (Stephen Huff), two sons; Darin Lewis (Nessa Kingdom-Lewis), and Daniel Lewis, three grandsons; Ayden James, Nico, and Jai, and a host of other loving family. The family will receive friends Friday, February 5, 2016 from 1:00 to 3:00pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Denbigh Chapel, 12893 Jefferson Ave, Newport News.
