Charles Stanford, age 77, of Hot Springs, formally of Charleston, Tennessee, died, Wednesday, August 10, 2016. He was born on November 13, 1938 in Hamilton, Alabama, the son of William Archie Stanford, Sr. and Jewel Nix Stanford.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, JoAnne Manley Stanford; and three brothers, Archie Stanford, Jr., Jack Stanford and Victor Sonny Stanford.

Charles was Baptist in his faith and enjoyed reading the bible. Charles was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was Superintendent of Conveyor Insulations with Diversified Conveyor Incorporated. He spent his time fishing, watching westerns, spending time with his family and friends and playing golf. He was a busy man and loved life.

Charles is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, two daughters and sons-in-law, six grandchildren,one brother and sister-in-law, three sisters and one brother-in-law, his lifelong friend, nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Services will be held at 2:30 PM, Saturday, August 13, 2016 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Bro. Rob Young officiating.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM on Saturday, just prior to the service.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, August 14, 2016 in the Amory Masonic DDD Cemetery in Amory, Mississippi
