Jippa Jane (Wingo) Bagwell was born on June 14, 1868 in Hall County, Georgia, the daughter of Calvin Hudson Wingo (1837–1909) and his wife Sarah A (Wilson) Wingo (1836–1896).
She was married about 1887 to William Henry Bagwell (1862–1937), and he was the son of William Bagwell (1835–1878) and Martha E A (Blackstock) Bagwell (1841–1908).
Living at 2301 Buchanon Street in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, Jippa was 76 years old and a widow when she died on December 5, 1944 of an intestinal obstruction at Nashville Protestant Hospital. Burial was two days later in Spring Hill Cemetery in Madison [city, not county].
