Wyatt Vance, 78, of San Diego died Wednesday. He was born in Mathiston, Miss., and was a machinist for Southwest Marine.
He was retired from the Navy. He was a member of VFW Encanto Post No. 6874.
Survivors include his wife, Colleen; daughter, Mary of La Mesa; sons, Paul of San Diego, Tom of Solana Beach and Robert of Henderson, Nev.; sister, Roselle Pittman of Grenada, Miss.; brother, Ervin of Mathiston, Miss.; and nine grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Conrad Lemon Grove Mortuary, 7387 Broadway, Lemon Grove.
Entombment: with military honors, Greenwood Mausoleum, Interstate 805 and Imperial Avenue, San Diego.
Donations: San Diego Hospice, 4311 Third Ave., San Diego 92103.
Arrangements: Conrad Lemon Grove Mortuary.
