Richard Ellison Thomason, 81 of Fairfield died August 8, 2016 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. Richard was a veteran of the US Army and farmed and worked at Airtex.
Survivors include three brothers, Russell (Freda) Thomason of St. Charles, IL, Frank Thomason of Fairfield, and Robert Thomason of Algonquin, IL, 2 sisters, Willeen (Larry) Musgrave and Dorris Elliott of Fairfield, and several nieces and nephews
Richard was cremated and a private family graveside service was held at Maple Hill Cemetery, Wayne County, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers memorials were made to the Dr. Scranton Memorial Cancer Fund.
