Alice A. Malechek, age 93 a resident of the Odd Fellows Nursing Home in Green Bay, and a former Denmark and Tisch Mills resident, entered into eternal life, Monday August 8, 2016 at the Bellin Health Hospital in Green Bay. Alice was born February 8, 1923 in Kewaunee Co. to the late Joseph and Anna Konop Vogeltanz. She married John Malechek September 4, 1946 and he preceded her in death June 15, 1988. She was formerly employed by Formrite of Two Rivers. She was a member of St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Tisch Mills and was a member of the Rosary Society of the church. Alice was also a member of the Czech's of Norman. She enjoyed listening to music, especially polka music. She also enjoyed baking and cooking.Survivors include one daughter: Joan Selner, of Denmark, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by an infant daughter: Carol, her son-in-law: William Selner, one sister: Lucille (Joseph) Cherney, two brothers: Sylvester (Margie) Vogeltanz, Joseph (Helen) Vogeltanz, and by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Archie and Mildred Malechek.Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016 at St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Tisch Mills with the Reverend Dennis Drury officiating, and assisted by Deacon Bob and Christal Wavrunek, with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
