Mrs. Rita (Murphy) Mann of 45 Sewall Street, West Newton, died last week at her home after a long illness and funeral services were held with a requiem Mass from St. Bernard’s Church, West Newton. She was born in Nova Scotia and came to Newton 40 years ago as a girl of 15.
Mrs. Mann is survived by her husband, Howard B. Mann; her mother, Mrs. Effie Murphy of Newton; two brothers, Robert E. Murphy of Mat- tapan and Peter A. Murphy of Hyde Park, and three sisters, Miss
Ann Murphy of Newton, Mrs. Amelia Braffitt of Billerica, and Mrs. Helen French of Walpole.
