FORT KENT--Esther (Mc-Pherson) Harvey, 84, died peacefully Sept. 23, 2007, at a Fort Kent nursing home. She was born Feb. 8, 1923, in St. Francis, the daughter of Albert and Margaret (Jandreau) McPherson. Esther graduated from Mars Hill High School and later married her husband, Emile Harvey in 1941. They resided in St. Francis for most of their lives and she worked for Fort Kent Telephone Co., for 14 years. She is survived by her daughter, Susan and her husband, Irvin Fournier, of Wallagrass; her son, Warren Fort Kent; grandchildren, Brian Stoliker of Madawaska, Richard Stoliker and his wife, Dawn, of Fort Kent, Curt Harvey and his wife, Sylvia, of Fort Kent, Shannon Hathaway and her husband, Brett, of New Hampshire, Trisha Connor and her husband, Robert, Of Wallagrass and Chad Fournier and his wife, Jessica, of Connecticut; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Brent Stoliker, Mitchell Harvey and Aadyn Connor. She is also survived by her siblings, Eldon McPherson of Washburn, Justine Ristan of Virginia, Jean Rush of Michigan, Freda Thibodeau of Washburn, Ewan of Greenville, Phyllis "Babe" Jandreau of ST. Francis and Lloyd McPherson of Calais; sisters-in-law, Edwina Harvey of Fort Kent and Emily Michaud of Sanford, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Emile; daughter, Beverly; sisters, Lona "Zue" Pelletier and Marilyn Young; brother, Wallace McPherson; and daughter-in-law, Marie Mai Harvey. Friends may call 11 a.m. Friday, Sept 28, until the time of services at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent.
