Helen Jo Stephenson, 92, passed away on August 9, 2016 in Norman, OK. She was born on September 20, 1923 in Blair, OK to Colonus Arnold and Emma (Russell) Dillingham.
Helen was the Vice President of her graduating high school class. After graduating, she attended Oklahoma A&M University which is now known as Oklahoma State University. On January 29, 1944 she married, Omer. Helen was a member of the North Haven Church in Norman, OK. She worked 30+ years at her husband's CPA office and was involved in the community.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Vernon Dillingham, S.R. Dillingham, and Christine Wallace. Survivors include her loving husband of 72 ½ years, Omer; son, Larry Stephenson and wife Cheryl; 7 nieces and nephews; and many other friends and family who will miss her dearly. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the of OK, OKC chapter at 2123 N Classen Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73106.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 12, 2016 at North Haven Church in Norman, OK with interment to follow at the Norman I.O.O.F cemetery.
