Sharon B. (Wallant) Gleason, 69, a lifelong resident of Brockton, passed away peacefully with family by her side February 12, 2015, after fighting brain cancer for 4 years. A 1963 graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School, she was a retired administrative assistant. Devoted to her family, Sharon loved to travel, especially going on cruises. She enjoyed bingo, gardening and jigsaw puzzles. Sharon was the beloved wife of Edward J. Gleason for 42 years; loving mother of Michael Gleason of Lincoln, RI, Stephen Gleason of Pembroke and Matthew Gleason and his wife Jucelia of Middleboro; grandmother of 8; dear sister of Stanley R. Sonny Wallant of Brockton, Robert T. Wallant of Alaska and Anita J. Wallant of Worcester; and an aunt of several nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 4-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 9:30 a.m., funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Brockton. Private burial.
