Sarah Frances Anderson, wife of Edward I. Andrews Jr. died about 9:30 last night at Methodist Hospital, 12 hours after having a cerebral hemorrhage at her home at 548 McDermitt Road.

Friends said Mrs. Andrews had been in apparent good health, serving breakfast to her family and waving goodby to her husband when he left the house yesterday morning. She was 38.

Mrs. Andrews, the former Sara Scott, was born in Scott, MS, and came to Memphis as a child. She was an active worker in Richland Baptist Church and had served three years as secretary of a Sunday School class. She was a member of the Richland School Parent-Teacher Association.

She also leaves two sons, Edward I. Andrews III and William Wessell Andrews; her father, William Frederick Scott of Oklahoma City; a sister, Mrs. Harry M. Smith of St. Louis, and a brother, William F. Scott of Lexington, MS.
