JENNINGS-Patrick T. June 16, 1932-February 13, 2005. Patrick was a long time lead man employee of and retiree from the Grumman Corp of Long Island for 36 years. He will be receiving a brick in his honor at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in the Summer of 2005. He passed away on February 13, 2005 at his home in Virginia after a valiant fight against Cancer. He was born and brought up in Harlem, New York. He then went into the service and fought in the Korean War aboard the U.S.S. Saipan. When he was on leave he would hitch hike home on the weekends from Norfolk, V.A. to see his future bride Patricia. After he married he and his wife Patricia moved to the eastern end of Long Island where they raised their four children in the town of Shoreham. After retirement Pat and Patty moved to the town of Lake Monticello in Palmyra V.A. where he had a house built. Directly after that, Pat not being one to sit around for those of you who knew him, rebuilt the entire interior of the house and did a beautiful job. Pat loved the Blue Ridge Mountains. He is survived by his beautiful wife Patricia, his son Patrick, his three beautiful daughters: Kathleen, Maureen and Jennifer and eleven grandchildren: Kellie, Heather, Peter, Craig Jr., Michael, Patrick, Zachary, Kevin, Edward, Lea and Emily. God bless him in Heaven. He will be missed by all who knew him. We're sure he's up in Heaven chatting with everyone he knew from the past. He loved to stop and chat.
