Parents unknown. Actual place of birth is unknown but she was living in Unteratertheim by 1850. Barbara & her husband Andrew's immigration & census records are more fully covered on his link.

Of her children:
In typical German fashion they were given multiple names, usually using the final one as their given name. Once in the US they adopted more Americanized versions.
1). Anna Margaret(he) (Anna M on the immigration record, Margaret or Maggie in the US) (6 Nov 1839- 17 Jan 1919 Chicago, IL, buried in Arlington Heights, IL, not on FAG, death record lists surname as Werrback). Never married, Maggie worked as a domestic servant for John T & Mary Seng in Chicago, appearing on the 1870 census with them. After er the death of her mother in 1876 she moved to Plato, IL to keep house for her father Andrew & youngest brother Johnny.
2). Anna Marie (c. July 1842- ?, no confirmed records beyond immigration)
3). Andrew W (Andreas on the immigration record) (1847-1920, #148281535) (see his son Jacob's link for details on his family)
4). Caroline Dorothy (Dorothea on the immigration record) (4 Mar 1850- ?, at least 1920 Oshkosh, WI, not on FAG) m. John A Vogtmann on August 22nd, 1869, Kane Co., IL. The couple lived in Elgar n, IL before moving to Oshkosh, WI. The 1900 Oshkosh census lists her as the mother of 6 (6 still living), but 7 appear on census records): Anna (Albert) Luecher, Frank, John A, Herman George, Carl M, Phillip Alfred & Caroline Odelia Morgan.
5). Charles Michael (Michel on the immigration record, probably Carl Michel, appears on US records usually as Michael Charles or Charles Michael) (April 1855- 11 Oct 1941 Wabasha Co., MN, not on FAG) m. #1 to Mary E Lescher on December 26th, 1876, Kane Co., IL. (The 1880 Plato, IL census lists the couple as M C & Mary E). Mary (born 1858 IL) does not appear in further records: fate unknown. He m. #2 to Hannah née Miller Winkler on June 8th, 1899, Wabasha Co., MN, whose son, Herbert George Winkler (26 July 1895- Oct 1962, #85539162), he adopted. (Note: Wabasha County was where his uncle Michael Werrbach had settled).
7). John Leonard (Leonhard on the immigration record) (10 July 1857- 3 May 1928 Chicago, IL, not on FAG) m. Odelia Gundlach on November 1st, 1883, Kane Co., IL. The couple had one daughter in Oshkosh, WI, Elma Margaretha (b. 28 Sept 1884, died young) & four more daughters in Chicago, IL: Lydia Sophie (b. 17 May 1886- ?), Jessie (17 May 1888, died young), Gertrude L (William) Herzog (20 July 1889- 17 Nov 1941 NY) & Ida (b. 27 Jan 1890, died young).
