Max Wayne Jackson passed away on August 8, 2016. Funeral services for Max will be held at 12:00 pm., Monday, August 15, 2016 at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle. Burial with military honors will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, August 15 at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter. Max was born on March 19, 1960 to Kenneth and Shirley Rhodes Jackson in Des Moines, Iowa. Max graduated from Carlisle High School and joined the United States Army. After leaving the army Max worked for Fire Stone and was a member of the United Steel Workers Union Local 310.
Max is survived by his wife; one son and one daughter; one brother and one sister; and four grandchildren. Max was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter Jennifer Peacock. Online condolences may be made at www.petersonfuneralservice.com
