DOROTHY MARIE MIMNAUGH ALL An Alameda resident for over 69 years, died October 28, 2003 at the age of 72 years, 4 months and 23 days. Mrs. All was born in Hopkins, Minnesota. She joins in death her parents, Charles and Clara Mimnaugh, Jens (James) and Marie Lykke and her middle infant child, Deborah Margaret All. She leaves her husband of 53 years, Kenneth All, son, Guy Mitchell All and his wife, Katie of Oakley, CA, daughter, Karen Michelle Freitas and her husband, James of Alameda and four grandchildren, Jennifer and Aaron All and Chad and Katherine Freitas. She also leaves her brother, James Mimnaugh of Castro Valley, CA. Mrs. All attended all of her schooling in Alameda with a 3 year absence during WWII when she and her brother were sent to live with her grandparents in Minnesota, for safety, during the war. She graduated from Alameda High School in 1949. While in high school she worked at the Vogue Theater. In the early years of her marriage, she worked for Pennzoil in Alameda. She left that job to become a stay-at-home mom. She loved cooking and sharing her recipes with her family and friends and she loved to float on the delta on an air mattress. She was a gardener and loved animals. She was a longtime member of the Danish Sisterhood (Dania) in Minneapolis.
