Born to Isaac Fleming Young and Mary Barr Neff, one of seven children. She married Leslie Squires on November 9, 1911 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They became parents to three children, two who lived to adulthood: Leslie Gordon, and Mary Adele.
Leslie died suddenly in 1955.
