Peggy Suzanne Mabry, 68, of Rantoul formerly of Penfield died at 8:17 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2016 at her home.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E Pells, Paxton. A private family burial will be held in Mount Olivet Cemetery, rural Paxton.
Peggy was born April 20, 1948 in Urbana the daughter of Ralph Massey and Goldie Alberta Epperson Butler. She married Darrell Gene Mabry August 24, 1963 in Marshall, Illinois. He preceded her in death on December 21, 2001.
She is survived by three daughters, Deborah Denise Mabry, Rebecca Sue Mabry and Kaylee Mabry all of Rantoul; 11 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Julie Ann Jenkins; one son, Kevin Darrell Mabry; two brothers and three sisters.
Peggy moved from Penfield to Rantoul in 2007. She had worked as a CNA at Champaign County Nursing Home. She enjoyed knitting, was a good grandmother and was known to be very big hearted.
