Austin Bailey, 61, Logansport, Ind., passed away August 5 at Memorial Hospital, Logansport, In. He was born on July 27, 1934 in Hendricks, KY., to Revia Arnett, whom survives, and Ottis Bailey, deceased.
Austin had resided at Logansport for 30 years. He came here from Medaryville, Ind.
Survivors include three sisters, Frances James and Lonie Miller of Macy, Ind.; and Versie Miller of Logansport, Ind., and three brothers, Jason Bailey of DeMotte, Ind.; Claude Bailey of Logansport, Ind.; and Ottis Bailey Jr. of Lafayette, In.
A private family funeral was held at Frain Mortuary, Tuesday, August 8, with Rev. David Lallathin officiating. Burial took place August 8, in the McKinley Memorial Gardens located in Winamac, Ind.
