Robert Carlton Tice, 80, of Morgan Mill, Texas, a retired master plumber, died Saturday, August 6, 2016, at his residence. Service: 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at the Morgan Mill Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Mill Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at Lacy Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.
He was born in Tarrant County, Texas, on December 15, 1935, to Alfred Ognes Tice and Thelma Dona [Dayn] Tice. He married Murlene [McCoy] Tice on October 31, 1953, in Joshua, Texas. She preceded him in death on January 10, 2006.
He is survived by his daughters, Vicky Lynn Tice of Hurst, and Paula Annette Tice Rodriguez and husband, Alonso Rodriguez, of North Richland Hills; his two brothers, Earl Tice of Gun Barrel City, and Tommy Tice of Burleson; his grandson, Robert Rodriguez of North Richland Hills; his granddaughter, Marlen Rodriguez of North Richland Hills; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his daughter, Beverly Carlene Jaynes, and son, Marvin Mark Tice.
