HUDSON, Earl Wayne A longtime resident of the Dayton area, he was born and spent his early years in Hardshell, KY. He graduated from Breathitt County High School in 1964 and later served in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Germany. After his time in the service, Earl Wayne moved to Dayton in 1968 where he worked at Dayton Press, Graphics Packaging in Franklin, OH and later retiring from Kettering City Schools where he served as a custodian. Wayne was married to his wife of 44 years, Ella Kate (Middleton) Hudson of Harlan, KY and has 2 children, Matthew and Nathan who both reside in Dayton. Earl Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Cordus and Bertha (Kazee) Hudson and his brother Melvin of Clayhole, KY. He is survived by his sister-in-law Gail Rowles of Kettering, OH; brother-in-law Scott and wife Cindy Middleton of Union, OH; sister Verda and husband Leonard Carpenter of Brookville, FL; 6 brothers: Alvin and wife Elaine of Haddix, KY, Archie of Jackson, KY, Denzil and wife Deborah of Clayhole, KY, Gerald and wife Martha of Quicksand, KY, Lewis and wife Donna of Louisville, KY, Seldon and wife Charlotte of Monroe, OH and Vergil and girlfriend Susan Sweeney of Beavercreek, OH. Earl Wayne is also survived by his sister-in-law Anna and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation 5-7pm Wednesday, August 10 and Funeral services 11am Thursday, August 11 at MORRIS SONS FUNERAL HOME, Kettering, OH. Burial will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City, OH.
