Richard P. Lord Sr., 57, of Laurel Street, Hanover Township, died Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Jason and Albine Baglioni Lord.

Richard had resided in Hanover Township since 2012. Previously he had resided in Plymouth.

He was employed by Harte Hanks Manufacturing in Hanover Industrial Park for more than 35 years.

He was a member of the Wyoming Valley Traveling Pool League, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Sons of the American Legion.

Richard loved his family and enjoyed horseback riding with them. He was an avid Cincinnati Bengals football fan and enjoyed fishing, golfing and going to yard sales.

Preceding him in death were his brother, James, and his sister, Joanne Lord.

Surviving are his lifetime companion; son and his wife; daughters; grandchildren; sisters; brothers; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from Hugh B. Hughes & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with the Rev. James Quinn officiating.

The interment will be held in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
