She was born September 11, 1952 in Sturgeon Bay the daughter of Leland and Delores (Fleming) Stach. Debra attended Menomonee Falls High School. Following high school Deb moved to Sturgeon Bay and worked many years as a waitress with Four Arrows Restaurant, The Fawn, Pudgy Seagull, Andres, Square Rigger, and Morning Glory Restaurants. On September 16, 1992 she married William Overbeck in Sturgeon Bay.
Debbie enjoyed reading, spending time with family, and loved being the gracious host to friends and family. Debbie will always be remembered for her lovely bright smile and witty personality.
Survivors include her husband, Bill; parents, Delores and Leland Stach of Forestville; daughter, Gina (Joe) Glennon and their children, Kaitlyn and Connor of Annapolis, MD; son, William J. (Emily) Kostka III and their children, Nathan and Madison of Annapolis, MD; sister, Patricia (Greg) Helland of Germantown; step-daughter, Linda (Jeff) Roop and their children Brianna, Hunter, Miranda of Sturgeon Bay; two step-sons, Travis (Mindie) Overbeck and their children, Mitchell, Faith, Brodie of Brussels, and Guy Overbeck of Sturgeon Bay; and special friend aunt, Jayne Belongia.
Preceding her in death were her infant brother, Ricky and sister, Lisa Nienow.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday (November 8, 2012) at Huehns Funeral Home. Friends may call at Huehns Funeral Home on Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
