Clive was born in Alpine, Utah, Sept. 20, 1930, to Harmon and Lerve and Mary Arvilla Beck. He attended schools in Pleasant Grove, graduating from Pleasant Grove High School in 1948. From 1951 to 1953, Clive served in the Korean Conflict in Army Intelligence. After being discharged, Clive married his sweetheart, Dixie West,

Sept. 30, 1953. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. With children at home, Clive began school at BYU,

Clive spent most of his working career with Hercules, Inc., retiring after 30 years as Director of Support Services. He also ran a successful Farmers Insurance Agency for over 30 years.

Clive was very active in civic endeavors, serving as Chairman of Strawberry Days, President of the AIIE Utah Chapter and Vice President of the AIIE National Chapter. He was a charter member of the Kawanis Club and also a member of the Chamber of Commerce.

The LDS Church was a very important part of Clive's life and he served where he was asked. He was a High Priest serving in the High Council, Ward and Stake Sunday School President, Deacon and Teacher advisor, and

Clive suffered from Parkinson's Disease for many years, but was always positive, striving to live life to the fullest. He always laughed about his problems and never complained. Clive lived life to the utmost, enjoying trips with Dixie, his friends, and especially playing with and watching his grandchildren and their activities.

His eternal sweetheart of 47 years, Dixie; children, Pamela (Kent) Allen, Scott (Kay), Elizabeth, Kelly (Julie), and Jeffery survive him, in
